I’m quite favorably impressed with this little flowmeter, which is accurate and quite easy to use and runs on a single, readily-available CR2032 lithium coin cell (provided).I quantitatively evaluated the device — which, upon visual inspection of the bore, appears to measure water flow via a digitally-monitored turbine in the flow path. I first filled a 5 gallon plastic pail nearly to the brim and looked at the volume readings. Here are the results:1. Photo 2 shows the total SINGLE volume of water delivered while filling the pail — 5.1 gallons which, all factors considered, is quite-satisfactorily accurate.2. Photo 3 shows the average volume delivered per day — 5.1 gallons — after filling the pail. Given that this was my first use ever of this flowmeter and my first day of usage, 5.1 gallons is correct.3. The total gallons EVER delivered at this point (no photo) were of course also 5.1 gallons.I then turned the faucet on a second time to measure and photograph the real-time, unimpeded flow rate. Here are the results:4. The unimpeded, real-time flow rate registered 5.8 gallons/minute. See Photo 1.5. The SINGLE volume of water delivered in this second SESSION of faucet turn-on registered 2.6 gallons. (No photo.)6. The average gallons per day after this second turn-on of the faucet correctly registered 7.7 gallons (no photo) — 5.1 gallons after the first faucet turn-on PLUS 2.6 gallons after the second faucet turn-on.7. The total gallons EVER delivered (no photo) correctly registered 7.7 gallons.At this point I find no fault whatever with this little flowmeter and give it an ‘A’ grade — 5 stars. I anticipate that this device will soon quite-valuably help me to evaluate water usage through the existing six sprinklers on my lawn and through the planned one or two drip hoses in my front garden.
Poverty All-Natural Shopper –
This meter comes with one lithium CR2032 battery that you’ll have to install. You can do that with a Flathead screwdriver or even something like a coin. The quality of this flow meter feels quite nice. The brass inlet that your screw into your water source feels heavy duty. The single-click button on the front feels responsive and sturdy, which is a rare find. The front display screen has a clear, protective film to peel off, so it arrived looking nice and scratch-free. Inside the unit, there is some kind of fine mesh filter (like you’d see on the end of a basic faucet, but shaped differently) that also feels very sturdy. The outlet end of the unit where you might screw on a water hose is what seems cheapest to me as, unlike the other brass end, it’s plastic, but it’s still a very sturdy-feeling, thick plastic. The turquoise and gold color scheme of the device looks nice, in my opinion.Since installation, I haven’t detected any leaking. Yay! By filling up a few watering cans with my hose, I can see that this meter appears to be giving me consistently accurate readings so far. I’m excited to use this to keep track of how much slow watering from my soaker hose my plant beds require.

This is a nice device with a nice brass inlet, but the outlet is plastic. No biggie as long as it last outside in the Houston summers. It even comes with a plastic “coin” that you can use to open the batter compartment. Installing the battery and installing the device was very easy. No leaks right from the start. It is pretty neat to see exactly how much water you use. Just turning on one of those 25’ expandable hose, it used to 0.5 gallons just to fill the hose up. It seems to be pretty accurate. I filled up a milk jug and it reported 1 gallon. I also spray it with a hose and it remained on and seems to be water resistant.

If you have a well on your property like me, you really need this. I use this to keep track of the water flow from my well pump. As a homeowner and the only means of getting water to my house is from a well this inexpensive flow meter is essential and over time can really tell you how your well pump’s health is.This RESTMO Water Flow Meter is very accurate especially with it being so small and compact. I measured actual flow from a hose spigot on the outside of the house through the RESTMO Water Flow Meter and then compared the GPM measured to a manual test at 1 minute using gallon milk jugs and the RESTMO Water Flow Meter was spot on correct.If you do decide to try this test be sure to take both measurements at the same test spot.This will be my primary use for this RESTMO Water Flow Meter as I keep a running log. I also like to perform a wellness test on my well pump where I measure total gallons of water that has flowed for a period of time, usually 3 hours straight. This is also known as a stress test. This RESTMO Water Flow Meter will work great for this procedure as well and having 5 digits in the display window is really nice to have with a unit this size.It is straightforward to use, well-made and with the 1 button mode operation that makes this a great value for anyone to have with them. The instructions are well written and easy to follow for the different modes.Highly recommend.
