If you like Shaker type furniture, Primitive type furniture or even the straight lines of Craftsman furniture this might appeal to you. It is made well and nice to look at. It is not large which is what I was looking for.I have bought inexpensive cloth shades/paper shades to dress it up. For Christmas I wove some authentic looking white pine roping at the base of it and it looked very cozy. I like the loop at the bottom because I can also dangle a prism from it if I like.It also looks very nice as it is. However, its simplicity allows you to do a lot of neat things with it.

I purchased this chandelier for over my kitchen table. I have a small kitchen and my table is in a nook with bay windows/shutters. It looks exactly as pictured and I love it! When you first open the box, you will see that you need to expand the arms to open the light up – so to speak. Once I did this, the light was perfect. It looks great over my table and you can’t beat it for the money.

The shipping was very fast too and well packed. I would recommend this fixture. It came with plenty of chain and wire to hang from a 12′ ceiling.
