This is a solid unit and probably will give me years of service. Because of the excellent pictures and description and the two different lengths of the upper support brackets that came in the package, I was able easily modify this for my mower. I have a Ryobi ZTR and this hitch was not made specifically for my mower, but I was able to slight modify the upper support brackets attachments using a couple of U bolts to attach them to my mower and it works well. I only need to pull a small 4’x8′ trailer around my yard with a couple of kayaks on it, so this was a great buy that works well for that purpose. I also like that I can leave this installed and still use my mower to pull my other yard equipment like my garden cart and water filled lawn roller as the hole in the back accepts the regular bracket and connecting pin.

was somewhat difficult to install. Not hard to understand, just hard to install becasue of the bolts and wherethe motor sits on one side. We were able to do it by jacking up the back end and then my wife putting her hand between the frame and getting a bolt and then wrench on there. Seems very sturdy.

Hitch is heavy duty for sure. The hitch will carry a lot more than my JD LA175 will pull, but thats ok. The hitch could have been a little shorter for my installation, although it is not tall enough to cause a problem. Got it during Prime Days at a good price. Shipping was fast and arrived undamaged. Installation took only a few minutes. My hands are not small, so getting the braces bolted to the rear of the mower took some time to get my hands up and under to install the bolts. The braces fit the slotted holes already in the rear of the mower, so there were no holes to drill. I added the chrome ball to the hitch (it is not included) and I like that I still have the hole near the bottom to attach my smaller utility trailers and etc that do not have a ball type hitch. I mosty use it to pull a small 6×8 trailer around the yard for hauling off brush, limbs and etc.

This product didn’t come with the best instructions, but it was a pretty straightforward install nonetheless.The only problem I had was getting the holes in the brackets to line up with the holes on my riding mower. But after some minor bending and lots of effort, I was finally able to getting everything bolted down properly.This is a sturdy bracket that handles everything I need it to.

Very sturdy mount I modified it to mount a 16 gallon sprayer for lake house lot for weed and tick control. I replaced the cheap bolts with sturdy galvanized ones. Every mower will have its challenges for mounting but with patience you can get done. By the way the trailer ball I have attached is for tow rope to move limbs etc; not enough clearance for trailer tongue to fit.

Hitch was easy to install. I had to drill two holes to attach the braces but even considering that, it only took about 20 minutes to install. Hitch is very heavily made. I use it to move my several trailers from one place to another. The price is very fair. I’ recommend this hitch to anyone considering a hitch for their lawn tractor.

Solid piece of hardware, easy to install with 2 holes to drill. Useful with the two heights I needed for 2 different trailers. Bonus that backing up the trailers is now easier, because pivot point is further from center of rear axle.

I wish I would have found this a while ago so I could haul my log splitter around the lot. After dry fitting the hitch, then locating and drilling two holes through the backplate of my 2009 Cub Cadet LTX1046, it was an easy 3 bolt installation. Perfect for my needs.

I really like this towing accessory for my John Deere X350. I had to drill two holes for the braces. The ball was not included. I got it on Amazon too. It is a very sturdy setup. It gets the ball up where it makes using my log splitter much easier to move where I want to use it . It let’s you install a ball up at a normal height but also leaves a hole dow low for a wagon using a pin. I would recommend.
