My five year-old grandson is a dinosaur fanatic, and he is going to love this flying raptor. It’s a good size for young kids, not huge but big enough for him to handle easily. Using it could not be more simple – you charge it up, turn on the power, wait a few seconds, and it takes off. It repels from anything under it, so you can keep it hovering above a hand, or above the floor, or whatever. It’s actually pretty entertaining to try to catch it in the air; you have to keep your hand off to the side until you grab it.The documentation that comes with it is terrible, though. There is a little instruction booklet with it that basically just tells you how to charge it, and this is where the problem comes in. It has a very explicit warning not to use it with a 5V charger more powerful than 0.5A. I have a lot of chargers laying around, but the lowest-powered one I could find was 0.75A. Looking at the ad, it states that you must use a 1.0A charger, which is a lot more common (older iPhones, etc.) but if this warning is accurate, be careful. Most standard chargers you will encounter these days are 2.4V.There is also a little round blue remote control in the package that is not mentioned in the instructions, on the box, or in the ad. It turns out that it fires an infra red signal at the raptor in the air and makes it change altitude or land. Handy to have, and that would be handy to know without experimentation.All in all, though, this is a really great little toy. I’m not deducting stars for the poor documentation, because it is so nice and you have the missing information right here.

I’m an adult but because of my childhood(or lack of), I really enjoy toys, games, plushies etc.When I saw this I thought it was interesting and enjoyable.And I was right. It’s not difficult and fun. I like it alot personally.Only issue is that it can go up high and the remote to turn off won’t work properly when flying. That’s a huge downside because I would have to wait till it dies to come crashing down.I don’t recommend to use outside because of this flaw. If that was fixed than it would be great.The price isn’t that bad either. But considering the major flaw, it might be much. Still fun and entertaining.

The media could not be loaded. Okay so again, I’m not as good at keeping this toy flying as my kids are! They got the hang of it very quickly and had lots of fun with it. You basically just turn it on and in 3 seconds the blades rotate very fast and then you just let it go and it floats up. When it starts to come down you just motion your hands under it and it has a sensor on it that makes it fly back upwards! It’s a sturdy little toy, because the amount of times I crashed it should’ve destroyed it but it didn’t hurt it at all! The blades move very fast and they do hurt if they get you, so do not give this to smaller kids! My kids are older though and they had a lot of fun! It lasts a long time on a full charge and the lights look awesome in dim spaces. Neat little toy, it was actually a lot of fun!

Pro: this is easy to use. Charge it up (the charging port is on the side of the dinosaur and labeled “CHA” and turn it on, The switch to turn it on is not easy to find so I have marked it in the photo. It is next to the charging port and it’s just a tiny slide switch. When you turn it on then hold it and it will start flying. A flying dinosaur is indeed a sight to see!!! It has a sensor so it will stay above obstacles. However, it will still fly into obstacles above or to the side. So far it has seemed pretty robust and will keep flying even after it crashes. There’s a blue thing included in the package and I have no idea what that does. I don’t think it’s really part of the set, it does not seem to perform a function and it’s not mentioned in the instructions. Fun toy!

My kids used to have a similar floating orb, but what is cooler than a flying dinosaur? This is like a game of keep the balloon off the floor, but much more exciting. Basically it has a sensor under it and you have to put your hand under it to keep it from descending. If it runs into something it automatically cuts off. We thought we broke it at first, but were glad to see it was just a safety feature. It also has with a remote that will bring it back down. It’s not something the kids normally use or play with though. I think it’s a great toy. The kids have fun and are always smiling and laughing while playing with it. It has a wow factor to it and has held up to several crashes. I think all things considering, the price is very fair and reasonable. It would make a great gift. I also like that it’s more compact and doesn’t take up much toy box space.

I didn’t expect much out of this little tiny toy. It came quickly and was packaged decently. I charged it overnight and when I turned it on, the little Dino took off! My kids were so excited and this definitely entertained for some time! I can’t speak to its longevity, but the battery life must be pretty good becasue they played with it for nearly An hour and it still doesn’t need to be charged.
