I have an Australian Blue Heeler. He loves stuffies, maybe with a little too much love from his teeth. Even the $25 tough toys only last him a week. We got a month out of the flat duck so far and he has removed the squeaker from the tail but nothing more. So for the price, I would definitely buy again. It is a soft material similar to a regular stuffed animal so can easily be torn through if your dog wanted to, but from what we’ve seen, our dog mostly just doesn’t want to since there’s nothing to get to by ripping it to shreds. He also did seem to enjoy that there were two squeakers in the toy. I bought the large though and it seemed a bit too big for our 50lbs dog. It would drag around on the floor as if carried it by one end or the other.

I LOVE the fact that this toy is large enough for both of my dogs to get a grip on it, clamp their jaws down and now they can play tug of war, with something that’s not hard rubber or plastic, it’s not a hard rough rope, and it’s not a stuffed toy that when they tear it apart I’ll have a big mess to clean up!! Instead it’s a durable faux fur covered nylon & whatever other material, they use, that makes it really strong and long lasting. My dogs LOVE playing with this MORE THAN ANY OTHER TOY THEY HAVE, so I’m glad I bought 2 of them!!

Our 50 pound “puppy” Winnie of nine months still plays with this durable toy and hasn’t destroyed it (yet) mainly because it does not come with stuffing (that dogs tear out as we all know), rather you put an empty plastic bottle in it and it makes a nice scrunchy sound for the dog and seems to entertain her quite a bit. It has been a great choice made by my wife (she wants to have credit, so here you go LA: My wife is a genius!).

“Sweetie’s” favorite toy are the ever-cute retro stuffed Lamb Chops which are sold here on Amazon at a great low price. But even those, which she goes through like potato chips, can accumulate in cost. She’s shy of 2yrs old, a mini chi-pin (chihuahua & mini pinscher), & chewing is one of her top 3 priorities right now. After placing what seemed like the 50th order of Lamb Chop chew toys, I decided to see what other options were available. Finally settled on this vibrant blue duck. It had incredible ratings & at the time it was #1 in pet (chew) toys. She loved it! I erroneously read the description about the internal water bottle; I thought we’d be able to replace that, but it Ty already comes with it, sewn securely inside. There is also one squeaky thingy – enough to peak her curiosity, but not to wake the whole house up. I was concerned when I read the packaging, “not intended for aggressive chewers.” Whaaaat? But, it’s been several wks now & Sweetie has not been able to penetrate the body! Although, the feet are gone & I’m the beak may follow soon. Her dad, “Zeus” will visit & he is a mini-pinscher & 100% muscle. They play tug of war w/that duck & wow it is strong. In the 2nd image, you can see the backside of our chihuahua (10lbs) to get an idea of how big Sweetie is. She’s approx 18-20lbs. After I’m done writing this – am going to order another of these chew toys (they come in various colors, sizes & shapes . Def want to have a 2nd one as a backup!

I got the duck for my dog who loves to play fetch and normally likes tearing her toys apart. This toy is great because it doesn’t have any stuffing so it’s lasted extra long and my dog doesn’t seem to notice. The only drawback is it’s harder to throw far because it lacks weight. Well worth the cost and still fun.

Bought this duck for my niece’s puppy for Christmas. He’s a golden retriever so he loves carrying around soft things in his mouth. It was much smaller than expected but that wasn’t a deal breaker because he’s only 3 mos old. Just keep in mind that this probably wouldn’t be ideal for a large dog.

I bought this for my 65 lb. mutt (husky, pit terrier, akita, malamute) after getting tired of cleaning up animal fluff. She’s had it for 2 weeks and has yet to even get into the velcro spot that holds the empty water bottle (or leave it empty). She’s torn up so many stuffed toys easily in the past, I needed something sturdy and entertaining for her. She loves it. Best part…put in a new empty water bottle and it’s like a brand new toy!

So I didn’t hold out much hope for this toy, but it came and 3 dogs tugged and pulled and chewed for many hours before the head was gone and it was a soppy drooly mess. I’ve had other similiar toys that didn’t last 5 minutes. I was very happy for them to have a distraction.

I adopted a 2 year old pit bull mix. I bought this so she’d have a toy to come home to. She really took to it. She Loved the squeaker, hasn’t torn the duck much less destroyed it. I bought her another toy a couple days later. Within 5 minutes she had pulled off it’s ear and nose. In about 30 minutes the stuffing was coming out, it’s flat like the duck now. Lesson learned, I will be getting future toys for her from this company. Thay last.Received the pig yesterday. Was expecting it to last like the duck has. With in 20 minutes the ear was torn off, the head was ripped down the back and almost separated from the body and 1 squeaker was chewed up. I got the pig because I read someones review about how long the pig had lasted their dog. I also ordered a alligator, hope it’s made like the duck.My 2 year old pit bull destroys all the toys I get her usually in 12 hrs or less. These are no exception. My dog chews snd pulls till she gets the squeakers out. The duck laster her almost a week. I put a bottler in a couple of them and they last for days, then i put in a new bottle. After this when I order one, I will take out the squeakers and sew up the hole before I give her the toy. She is attached to them and I don’t have to worry about her getting the squeakers out and swallowing some of the plastic. Wish they made them without a squeaker and with an opening for the bottle.

I gave it for Christmas. I did not expect it would become a favorite toy so soon. It crackles as well as squeaks which seems to add all kinds of doggie excitement to the play. I am hoping to find some different styles of these for sale on Amazon.
